Original Items: Only One Set Available. From the bleak Aleutians to the isolated airstrips of the Pacific, US Navy and Marine pilots of WW2 were issued the M-445A sheepskin leather flight jacket for winter weather.
This US Marine Corp Aviator WW2 M-445A, in approximate size 40, has been converted to a vest and is in good condition, with expected wear from use and age but overall the jacket is in fine shape. The tough sheepskin leather construction, which still remains fairly supple and pliant. Most interestingly, it has a USMC name tag to the front which reads CAPT THOMAS J. NOON. The zipper is no longer functional though it appears part of the look as it wear well open. The interior bears the classic US Navy black and gold nomenclature tag at the interior neck that reads:
